# Query Archived Data from Deleted Objects in Archive Apex

Archive Apex Data Query now supports querying archived data from objects deleted from your production schema. Previously, deleting an object from production made its archived data inaccessible.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. This feature is available in both Archive 2.0 (Apex) and the Archive managed package (SDK).

**When:** Effective Summer '26

**Why:** Delete objects to clean up your schema and still query their archived data. Previously, deleting an object from production made its archived data inaccessible.

**How:** This capability is automatically available when you use Archive Apex Data Query. No setup or configuration is required. When you query archived data, Archive now includes objects that have been deleted from your production schema.
