# Integrate AI Agents with Archive Data Through the Archive Connect API

The Archive Connect API connects AI agents to archived data for search, unarchive, analysis, and management operations. AI agents handle compliance tasks such as Right To Be Forgotten (RTBF) erasure requests and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) anonymization, storage analysis, and job log retrieval—all without manual intervention. The API provides 13 tools accessed through the Headless 360 Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Who:** This feature requires an Archive license.

**Why:** Automate time-consuming Archive tasks with AI-powered workflows. Instead of manually searching archived data or processing compliance requests, AI agents handle these operations for you. Common use cases include:
