# Optimize Code with ApexGuru

ApexGuru introduces generally available support in DX MCP. Detect and fix antipatterns directly within agentic IDE workflows. This update adds GPT-4.1 powered detection for advanced antipatterns like Redundant SOQL, DML in Loops, and SOQL in Loops. Also, new Test Case Insights help you identify inefficient test code to improve overall coverage and quality. The Salesforce Code Analyzer extension enables real-time scanning during the development lifecycle.

**Where:** ApexGuru is available at no additional cost in all major edition production and full sandbox environments. Access it in all Signature, Scale Test, and Partner Large Data Volume (LDV) orgs.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Scale, and then click **Scale Center**. Go to Scale Insights, and click **ApexGuru Insights**.

You can also right-click a `.cls` file in an IDE and select **Scan Selected File for Performance Issues with ApexGuru using the Salesforce Code Analyzer**. ApexGuru works in DX MCP via the `scale-products` toolset. Use the `scan_apex_class_for_antipatterns` tool to analyze Apex classes within MCP-enabled IDEs and agentic workflows.
