# Let Callers Key In Numbers Instead of Speaking Them

Agentforce Voice now supports keypad input on phone calls. Instead of saying an order number or account number aloud, callers enter it on their phone keypad, which is faster, more accurate, and more private. Callers press the pound key (#) to finish, or the input completes automatically after a short pause.

Keypad input works across all Agentforce Voice telephony deployments—Agentforce Voice Integration, Agentforce Voice with PSTN Transfer, Agentforce Voice with Dynamic Routing, and Agentforce Contact Center with Agentforce Voice—for both third-party telephony connected through PSTN or SIP and native Salesforce voice through PSTN.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 Editions.

**When:** Keypad input is available starting the week of July 27, 2026.

**Why:** Before this change, when an Agentforce Voice agent asked for a number, such as an order ID, an account number, or a ZIP code, the caller had to say it aloud, often one digit at a time. That approach is slow, easy to get wrong, and a privacy concern when the caller has to speak a sensitive number in a noisy or public place. Now callers key the number in directly, which is faster, more accurate, and more private.

**How:** No setup is required. Keypad input works automatically for Agentforce Voice on telephone connections. When the agent asks for a number, the caller enters the digits (0–9) on their phone keypad and presses the pound key (#) to finish. If the caller doesn't press #, the agent processes the digits automatically after a short pause. The entered digits appear in the interaction transcript.
