# Turn Every Search into Action with Agentforce Coworker (Generally Available)

Agentforce Coworker is generally available starting in August 2026. Your autonomous AI teammate immediately knows your business, is connected to Salesforce CRM, and can connect to Slack and Data 360 objects - all while maintaining your existing governance, permission-based access, and data classification. Agentforce Coworker also acts on your behalf by orchestrating agents, completing complex tasks, and driving work forward from wherever you work.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 editions in orgs where Agentforce Coworker hasn’t been [auto-enabled](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005388192&type=1&language=en_US).

**When:** The feature is generally available starting August 4, 2026.

**Who:** To turn on and configure Agentforce Coworker, admins need the Salesforce Admin role and the Agentforce Coworker Admin permission set. To use Agentforce Coworker, users need the Access\_Ai\_Search (API name) permission set group.
