Advisements (Beta) delivers intelligent, org-specific recommendations to resolve implementation health issues before they cause critical incidents. Advisements include targeted findings, step-by-step remediation guidance, and automatic verification upon completion.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with a Signature Success plan.
When: This functionality becomes available starting in Summer '26.
Why: Proactively identify and resolve configuration risks before they impact your org. Save time with automated detection and guided remediation instead of manual reviews. Your org is evaluated against a growing pool of 14+ advisements across four focus areas—you see only those triggered by your org's telemetry and configuration.
Focus areas include:
- Tool/Feature Adoption: Activate Proactive Monitoring and configure critical alerts for real-time visibility into org limits and high-risk activity. Enable the Licensing Events tool to control when Salesforce applies license provisioning to your org.
- Configuration Cleanup and Modernization: Migrate from retired Workflow Rules and Process Builder to Salesforce Flow. Replace outdated Visualforce pages with Lightning Web Components. Stop using the deprecated SOAP API login() method before its Summer '27 retirement.
- Change Preparedness, Testing, and Deployment: Deploy changes at off-peak hours. Run Scale Center after major deployments to catch performance bottlenecks. Use ApexGuru Insights to detect Apex code issues before they affect users.
- Availability Best Practices: Reduce risks to org stability and security posture. Enable SSO to enforce centralized identity policies. Turn on Security Health Check notifications to stay ahead of score changes. Use the hard-delete option for bulk API deletions to prevent Recycle Bin buildup from affecting database performance.
How: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Advisements, and then select Advisement Settings. Turn on Advisements (Beta) and save. After enabling, access advisements from the App Launcher or from the Setup page. You receive a digest of open advisements via the in-app notification tray and Slack. If Agentforce and Data Cloud are enabled, you can also access advisements from the Setup agent experience.
