# Changed Connect REST API in Advanced Approvals

Use the enhanced Preview Approval API to gain visibility into your business processes by previewing stage information and assignee details. Manage complex, multi-step approvals and task assignments.

## Changed Connect REST API Request Body

This request body has this new property.

`inputParameters`—Specifies the list of input parameters to preview.

## Changed Connect REST API Response Body

Preview Approval

This response body has these new properties.

- `stage`—Specifies the API name and label of an approval stage.
- `assigneeDetails`—Specifies the details of an approval assignee, such as ID, name, type, API name, and email.
- `dependencies`—Specifies dependencies among approval steps, which are entry conditions based on the status of a previous step within the same stage.
