Bring your approval workflows into Slack. Reviewers can approve or reject requests and add comments directly in Slack, and submitters receive real-time notifications when requests are submitted and reviewed. The Approval Trace component on the related record monitors the Slack actions, giving teams a clear view of work item status and history.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Advanced Approvals or Flow Approval Processes.
Who: To connect Salesforce with Slack, you need the Connect Salesforce with Slack user permission. Approval reviewers and submitters need Read access on the Approval Submission object.
How: Connect your Slack workspace to Salesforce. In Setup, in Approval Settings, turn on Notify Reviewers in Slack and Notify Submitters in Slack.
