Get High-Quality Metadata Using the Experts MCP Server (Beta)

The Metadata Experts MCP Server is a Salesforce Platform-hosted solution that provides high-quality metadata. It enables governed, self-service access to expert intelligence for Agentforce Vibes, allowing LLM agents to safely execute metadata actions.

Where: This beta feature is available in Enterprise and Developer editions of Production, Developer, sandbox, and scratch orgs that have the MCPService permission enabled.

This beta feature is not available in EU Operating Zone and Government Cloud.

Note : The Metadata Experts MCP server is a beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at the Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this Beta service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.

When: This beta feature is available starting April 15, 2026.

How: The Metadata Experts MCP server is one of many Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers. To use it, first set up the Salesforce Hosted MCP server and then activate the Metadata Experts MCP server from your org's Setup page.

To enable the Metadata Experts MCP server in Agentforce Vibes, click the MCP Servers icon in the Agentforce Vibes panel, and toggle the switch for Metadata Experts MCP server.
