# Scale Data Ingestion with Enhanced Large File Support

You can now handle large-scale data imports more efficiently with increased file limits. The maximum file size is now 2 GB with 100 columns for CSV files, and 100 MB with 500 columns for XLSX files. These expanded limits apply to file uploads from your local machine, enabling you to import massive and complex datasets without external data preparation tools.

**Where:** This change applies to Tableau Next in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
