When you ask a question using Concierge anywhere in Tableau Next, the analytics agent will now route all questions through the semantic query path to provide a single, consistent decision engine. This change enables higher accuracy and reliability for all Concierge responses.
The semantic query path interacts with the underlying semantic model dynamically, allowing for custom breakdowns, entity comparisons, and deeper exploration. Concierge generates and runs a semantic query against the underlying semantic model. It synthesizes the query output data to create a textual answer and creates a visualization based on the semantic query.
