# Transaction Management

Manage complex deal structures easily by creating multiple ramp schedule groups, and amend ramped and nonramped assets in a single transaction. Set up quote line import effortlessly in multicurrency orgs, and automatically populate records related to imported quote lines. Handle transactions easily with advanced filtering, automated and persistent line sorting, and faster instant pricing. Process amendment, renewal, or cancellation transactions before the start date of an existing future-dated order.

- **[Autopopulate Default Child Lines and Attributes During Quote Line Import](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_automate_child_line_attribute_creation.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Speed up quoting and improve accuracy by using the new Data Processing Engine definition to autopopulate default records related to imported quote lines. When users import quote lines from CSV files, the import process populates default child lines for bundled products, and default quote line item attributes and their values. Users can also import static product bundles and products with static attributes.
- **[Set Up Quote Line Import Easily When Multiple Currencies Are Enabled](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_set_up_quote_line_import_faster.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Quickly configure quote line imports by using the new prebuilt Data Processing Engine definition template when your Salesforce org uses multiple currencies. This template reduces the manual setup steps previously required to add and map currency fields.
- **[Manage Complex Deals and Amendments by Using Multiple Ramp Schedule Groups](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_consolidate_complex_deals.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Enable your users to create and manage multiple, independent ramp schedule groups on a single quote or order to handle complex deal structures. Users can also amend non-ramped and ramped assets—including ramped assets with different asset state period dates—in a single transaction. Sales reps can perform complex actions, such as “rip and replace,” to remove assets and add new ones in a single transaction.
- **[Enrich Navigation by Using Advanced Filtering](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_accelerate_navigation_with_advanced_filtering.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Your sales reps and partners can now filter all quote and order lines including ramped lines, errored lines, and unconfigured lines by using predefined filters. They can also create advanced filters to target specific fields, operators, and values. They can manage complex transactions easily by applying filters across all groups or selected groups.
- **[Automate Consistent Line Item Sequencing on Quotes and Orders (Pilot)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_consistent_line_item_sequencing_of_quotes_and_orders.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Sales reps can control how line items show up on quotes and orders by introducing an automated and persistent sort order. Line items now appear in the sequence in which they're added. Automatic Line Item Sequencing (pilot) maintains item order when converting a quote to an order, and resolves the unpredictable item order shuffling that previously occurred in processing. Sales reps can also manually reorder items, providing the reliable sequencing needed to adjust the order of items to meet specific business needs.
- **[Show Precise Discounts in the Price Waterfall](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_enhance_discount_precision_in_the_price_waterfall.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Show your sales reps discount percentages and amount adjustments in the price waterfall with the correct decimal precision. Percentage discounts show up to two decimal places, and amount adjustments follow the currency scale. Help sales reps understand discount values accurately and remove the confusion caused by rounded percentages.
- **[Track Product Swap, Upgrade, and Downgrade Amendments](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_swap_upgrade_downgrade_amendments.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Make sure that transactions are transparent and accurately track the intent of every sale change. Agentforce Revenue Management now natively supports Swaps, Upgrades, and Downgrades as distinct amendment types, which boosts the efficiency of your sales reps. New connections among the related quote line items, order items, and asset actions make sure that these transactions are recognizable and auditable. Sales reps save time and effort used in the previous method that simply recorded them as a cancellation and new product sale.
- **[Modify Upcoming Orders with Future-Dated Amendments](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_future_dated_order_amendments.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Edit any order that has a future start date to reflect customer-requested changes. Save sales reps time and effort used in the previous method that recorded the changes as a cancellation and new product sale. Your sales team can now perform all transaction amendment types, including adding, swapping, upgrades, or product quantity changes to orders with future start dates. Keep customer orders up-to-date and accurate.
- **[Restrict User Access to Sensitive Data When Pricing Quotes and Orders](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_restrict_user_access_sensitive_data.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Give your users the ability to price quotes and orders even when they don’t have access to underlying sensitive data required for pricing. Enhance security and limit the access to sensitive data, such as product costs.
- **[Save Time by Setting Instant Pricing to Active by Default](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_save_users_time_instant_pricing_active.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Instant Pricing provides users the ability to recalculate prices immediately when they edit a line, instead of only upon saving the transaction. Simplify transaction management by turning on Instant Pricing by default on quote and order pages. Users can turn off Instant Pricing if needed.
- **[Changed Object in Transaction Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_changed_objects_in_transaction_management.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Do more with the changed UserUIPreference object in Transaction Management.
- **[New Connect REST API in Transaction Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_connect_api_resources.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Enable troubleshooting and improve the reliability of transaction processing.
- **[New and Changed Invocable Actions in Transaction Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_new_and_changed_invocable_actions.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Get flexible and granular control over grouped asset pricing during renewal. Also, streamline the process of replacing existing assets.
- **[Changed Tooling API Object in Transaction Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_transaction_management_tooling_new_and_changed_objects.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Gain more control over rate synchronization and ensure pricing consistency across transactions.
