New and Changed Objects in Trade Promotion Management

Do more with the new and changed Trade Promotion Management objects. Changes span across areas such as fields, page layouts, and picklist values related to configuring Promotion tab for Customer Business Plans and other features.

Field Changes

If you're upgrading to the Consumer Goods Cloud Spring ’26 managed package, make sure your users have edit access for them to prevent any sync errors.

Existing Object New Field Purpose
cgcloud__Account_Template__c Has_Promotions_in_Business_Plan__c

Determines whether the Promotions tab is shown in customer business plans. Possible values:

  • Enabled: This is the default value.
  • Disabled
cgcloud__Sales_Organization__c Product_Definition_Policy__c

Specifies the method to add products to trade calendar and account plan. Possible values:

  • Dynamic
  • Static
cgcloud__Sales_Organization__c Promotion_Phases__c Specifies the promotion phases shown in trade calendar and account plan filters. Uses global value set Promotion_Phases.
cgcloud__Tactic_Template__c Use_Accrual_Output_For_Fund_Liability__c Determines whether accrual outputs are considered when liabilities are calculated for tactics and tactic funds.

Field Set Changes

If you're upgrading to the Consumer Goods Cloud Spring ’26 managed package, the field sets are automatically added with the new fields.

Picklist Value Changes

Add new picklist values to activate new features, as they are not automatically upgraded when you upgrade the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages.

To make use of the new picklist value, add it to the specified field and record types.
