- Streamline Administrative Tasks with Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
Salesforce’s new agent-driven Setup experience integrates Setup with an AI assistant to simplify administrative tasks. Chat with the agent to issue commands or ask questions by using natural language. The agent makes activities like creating objects and flows, managing user access, and troubleshooting formulas more intuitive and efficient, reducing navigation and clicks. - Chat with the Setup Agent in More Languages (Beta)
Setup with Agentforce now has beta support for Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. Previously, only English was supported. - Open Setup Pages in a Dedicated Tab (Beta)
In Salesforce orgs that have enabled Setup with Agentforce, Setup pages open in a single dedicated tab instead of overwriting the Setup Home page. Now you can context switch between Home, agent conversations, and Setup pages without losing work. - Updated Permission Requirements for Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
Previously, you were required to assign users the Execute Prompt Templates user permission to allow access to the Setup agent. Now, you can assign users either the Execute Prompt Templates or Customize Application user permission. Alternatively, in place of the Execute Prompt Templates permission, you can assign the Prompt Template User standard permission set. The Use Setup with Agentforce user permission remains required as before. - Get Enhanced Conversation Recommendations in Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
Use engagement insights to improve search recommendations and agentic conversations for selected users in Setup with Agentforce (Beta). When enabled, this feature uses Data 360 to collect and process page views, record changes, and other user run-time data for a more personalized Setup with Agentforce experience. - Get Information About Key Org Health and Usage Metrics with Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
The Org Health and Usage dashboard now has even more information about your org's health and performance metrics. Use this dashboard to track your org's Security Health Check score, get an overview of your Apex health, and review login errors. - Quickly Create a Salesforce Mobile App and Pages in Setup with Agentforce (Pilot)
Agentforce builds custom mobile apps and home pages tailored to your specific roles, data, and components. After analyzing your workflow, it proposes a structured plan and executes the build once you approve the design. - Open Newly Created Flows in Flow Builder from Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
Transition smoothly from conversational, AI-generated flow creation to fine-tuning the results. After you create a flow in Setup with Agentforce, use the new links to open it directly in Flow Builder for review and modification. The links remain available as long as the tab where Agentforce created the flow is open. - Troubleshoot Access Using the Setup Audit Trail (Beta)
Find out why a user lost or gained access with the Setup agent. The Setup agent now answers questions such as “Why can’t Erica Douglass manage users anymore? What changed?” by reviewing recent changes in the Setup Audit Trail. The agent looks at Setup Audit Trail updates related to permission sets, permissions set groups, profiles, roles, user access policies, organization-wide defaults, and user records when determining the reason. - Build Data Models Faster with Data Model Management Enhancements (Beta)
With data model management you can use a conversation-centric UI to create custom objects, fields, and relationships. There are a number of enhancements to data model management in Setup with Agentforce. When you work with objects and fields, you can now include Percent and Currency field types. This update includes a tabular format for fields and a summary explanation of the action output to improve data visibility. You can also independently update object and field labels and API names for more flexibility during the customization process. Finally, we added linking for existing objects and fields so you can view their details in Object Manager. - Explore Setup with Agentforce Capabilities (Beta)
Learn what tasks the Setup agent can help with right from the source. You can get an overall summary of the Setup agent’s capabilities or information about a specific area. For example, ask, “What can you do?” or “What can you do related to user access management?” - Manage Queues with Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
You can now create and manage queues through a conversation with the Setup agent, rather than navigating to multiple Setup pages. When making updates, you can modify queue details such as its name, support emails, supported objects, and routing configurations. For easier management, you can also ask the Setup agent for a list of all queues and public groups. - Use Both API Names and Labels to Reference Features (Beta)
You can now generate flow summaries and reference formulas, permission sets, and other features in Setup with Agentforce using either their API name or label. The generated flow summary references the precise API names of objects and fields that the flow interacts with. Using the API names allows you to easily find what you’re looking for and to avoid ambiguity when multiple features and flows have similar labels. - Reference Users with More Flexibility in Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
When you chat with the Setup agent, you can now reference or locate users with their email, username, first name, last name, and role. - Troubleshoot External Client App Access in Setup with Agentforce (Beta)
To resolve access issues more efficiently, the Setup agent can help you determine whether a user has access to an external client app (ECA) through a permission set or profile. Ask the agent a question such as, “Can you check whether Kathy Cooper has access to external client application Example Integration?”
