# Service Setup and Service Setup Assistant Retiring in New Orgs

In Salesforce orgs created in Spring ‘26 or later, including sandbox orgs, the Service Setup app and Service Setup Assistant will no longer be available. These features will still be available in maintenance mode in orgs created before Spring '26.

**Where:** The Service Setup app and Service Setup Assistant were available in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Why:** For setup help with Service features, use Salesforce Go. Like Service Setup Assistant and the Service Setup app, Go offers onboarding and setup assistance for new Salesforce orgs.

In orgs created before Spring '26:

- If the Service Setup Assistant is already on, its sample data and configurations remain.
- If it isn’t on yet, you can still turn it on to install the sample data and configurations.
