# Customize Batch Sizes to Optimize Privacy Policy Jobs

Improve privacy policy job performance by manually specifying the number of records processed in each batch. By adjusting the batch size, you can help your jobs stay within governor limits and find the ideal balance between stability and speed.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** In Privacy Center, on the Privacy Policies tab, create or edit a policy. On the Add an Object or Edit Policy Details page, select **Set batch size manually**, and then enter a number from 1 through 2,000.
