# Enjoy Improved Performance in Territory Planning

Create territories for your sales teams with confidence, efficiency, and trust. Territory Planning provides enhanced security, reliable scalability, and better performance for some resource-intensive functionality.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Web Services API enabled.

**How:** When you optimize a territory plan, the job now runs on Hyperforce, the Salesforce public cloud infrastructure with integrated standards for compliance, security, agility, and scalability.

And, when you publish territories to Salesforce Field Service, the job that generates KML files runs more efficiently. However, in some limited geographies, viewing these published territories in Field Service can cause a slight degradation of shapes.
