# Access Configurator API More Easily by Using a Lightning Web Component

Use a wire adapter with a Lightning web component to access Configurator API. The wire adapter simplifies the process for fetching data, compared to using Connect API. Use Configurator API to build a custom configurator UI and incorporate existing first-party configurator UI components as needed.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Growth or the Revenue Cloud Advanced license.

**Who:** To use Configurator API, you need the Product Configurator API User user permission.
