Streamline Data Access with Context Definitions

Define business context in your validation procedures with context definitions. A context definition acts as a structured data layer and translator that organizes data so that you can easily map and access relevant information across multiple objects. For example, to enforce compliance and prevent customer harassment, debt collection agencies must follow regulations that limit the number of times that they can call a customer. By using a context definition, you can now validate contact data, such as call frequency and time zone fields, before an agent initiates a call. The validation procedure passes in contact record data to validate it for compliance, ensuring agents adhere to all call limitations.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Developer, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Process Compliance Navigator.

How: Create a context definition by choosing nodes, defining their relationship, adding attributes, and applying context tags. Add the context definition context ID to the validation procedure.
