The 11.7 release occurs between February 23 and March 2, 2026.

- **[Enforce Regional Cash Limits at Checkout](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_pos_max_cash.htm&release=260&type=5)**  
    Restrict the amount of cash accepted during a sale. Updated CMS settings help your stores comply with local regulations by blocking cash tenders that exceed your defined threshold. The Point of Sale app, formerly Retail Cloud Modern POS, prompts associates to collect the balances that exceed the threshold via other payment methods and prohibits manager overrides to ensure strict compliance.
- **[Improve Commission Accuracy with Advanced Attribution Settings](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_pos_sales_attribution.htm&release=260&type=5)**  
    Control multiassociate tagging policies for sales attribution with updated CMS settings. Your associates can now manually distribute sales credit in different percentages to any sales associate. These settings replace rigid equal-split defaults, giving you more control over tracking and reporting sales performance.
- **[Support Multitender Flows for In-Store Pay by Link](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_pos_multitender_pbl.htm&release=260&type=5)**  
    The in-store pay by link workflow now supports multitender scenarios. The workflow also verifies that the entire order amount is paid before returning an approved status to store associates. The system now validates that the sum of all payments equals the full order total before finalizing the sale. Previously, the POS app incorrectly treated a partial payment as a completed transaction and immediately showed the confirmation page.

    Make sure that your customers receive email receipts in the same language that’s on their printed receipts. The Point of Sale app, formerly Retail Cloud Modern POS, now passes the language code selected at checkout by using the e-receipt webhook. Previously, e-receipts defaulted to English regardless of the selection made at the point of sale, causing inconsistencies for non-English speakers.
- **[Offer Flexible Refund Options for Gift Receipts](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_pos_gift_receipt_refunds.htm&release=260&type=5)**  
    Configure your return policies so customers can receive refunds to a different credit card when presenting a gift receipt. Previously, gift receipt returns were restricted to gift cards or the original purchaser’s credit card, causing friction at the point of sale. Now, your associates can refund to the recipient's preferred tender and prevent refunds to the original purchaser's payment method.
