# Accelerate Release Management with Next Generation DevOps Center (Beta)

Manage your release process with a click-based interface that serves as a central hub for DevOps tasks. Resolve complex issues like merge conflicts using natural language prompts and AI-powered assistance. The next-generation DevOps Center supports non-source-tracked environments and removes the need for package installations.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Note DevOps Center is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at [Agreements - Salesforce.com](https://www.salesforce.com/company/legal/agreements/) or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the [Product Terms Directory](https://ptd.salesforce.com/). Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

**When:** This change is available on a rolling basis starting on February 11, 2026.

**Who:** To set up DevOps Center, you need the DevOps Center Admin permission. After setup, users with the DevOps Center User permission can access it. Users who commit changes using DX Inspector also require the Customize Application permission.

**Why:** DevOps Center (Beta) improves ‌application release management with these features:

- Access an agentic DevOps experience using Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools to resolve issues with natural language prompts.
- Instant access without package downloads or installs.
- Support for non-source-tracked environments, and integrated metadata tracking through DX Inspector.
- A new interface built on Salesforce Lightning Design System 2 (SLDS 2) that supports customized workflows.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter DevOps Center, and then select **DevOps Center (Beta)**. After you turn on the feature, accept the Salesforce DX Tools terms and conditions.

Note At a time, you can only turn on either-DevOps Center (Beta) or DevOps Center-Managed Package.
