# Access Near Field Communication (NFC) Capabilities on Mobile Publisher Apps

Give users of Mobile Publisher apps the ability to use near field communication (NFC) to streamline workflows. NFC technology enables the device to read, erase, and write to tags natively.

**Where:** This change applies to Mobile Publisher for Experience Cloud apps. Setup for Mobile Publisher is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**How:** Enable the Near Field Communication permission in Setup > Mobile Publisher > \[app name\]. Then create a Lightning Web component for your specific NFC-related use case, and add it to your app in Experience Builder.
