Note Salesforce DX MCP Server is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

**Where:** The Mobile MCP tools are available in version 0.21.2 of the Salesforce MCP DX Server (Beta).

**Why:** The Mobile Offline MCP Tools provide comprehensive offline compatibility analysis and guidance for Lightning web components that work with offline-supported apps like Salesforce Mobile App Plus and the Field Service Mobile App.

The Mobile Native Capabilities MCP tools provide grounding context for creating Lightning web components that integrate with device-native capabilities such as barcode scanning, location services, contact access, and other mobile-specific features

**How:** Use the `--toolsets` flag to specify the toolsets when you configure the Salesforce DX MCP Server.

- `mobile` toolset: Tools for creating Lightning web components that integrate with device-native capabilities such as contact access, document scanning, and other mobile device related features.
- `mobile-core` toolset: A subset of tools from the mobile toolset focused on development, testing, and optimization of offline capable Lightning web components and the most essential device-native capabilities.

For more information on configuring toolsets with the Salesforce DX MCP Server, see [Install and Configure the Salesforce DX MCP Server (Beta)](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_dev.meta/sfdx_dev/sfdx_dev_mcp_server.htm)
