Transform Your Emails, Campaigns, and Data with Marketing Cloud Next for Engagement

New features improve campaign reporting and data compatibility for Marketing Cloud Next. Marketers can now send Engagement emails via flows, create lockable email templates for use by platform users, and view unified reporting in context.

Where: These changes apply to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Marketing Cloud Next for Engagement.

Build Email Templates for Non-Marketing Users

Distributed Marketing and Alerts functions similarly to the Distributed Marketing functionality that you’re used to. Orgs with Marketing Cloud Next for Engagement can try it out after an admin turns on the feature and adds the required Lightning web components to record pages.

Enhance Campaign Reporting with Related Emails

The Marketing Cloud Next campaign record experience continues to evolve for Engagement customers, making it easier for marketers to view, manage, and report on multichannel orchestration. You can now send Marketing Cloud Engagement emails from flows in the Marketing App. On campaign records, we added the Engagement email send element in the Next Steps section and a unified report to the Performance tab.

Unify Legacy Engagement Data for Marketing Cloud Next

Now you can unify your legacy Marketing Cloud Engagement data to use with Marketing Cloud Next. To make sure that incoming and existing Engagement data is compatible with newer features, such as Marketing Performance reports, update your data configuration. Previously, some users with an older data model couldn’t unify their Engagement data in Marketing Cloud Next.

Where: These changes don’t apply to most Engagement customers. To confirm if your account requires this configuration, from Salesforce Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Marketing Cloud Engagement and then select Unify Data. If Setup doesn’t include a Unify Data page, the changes don’t apply to your org.

When: Data unification for legacy Marketing Cloud Engagement data is available later in Spring '26.
