description: We increased the precision of Salesforce Data Entry events in Journey Builder. The Is Updated operator on Entry Criteria now compares a field's before and after values to more accurately detect any changes to CRM objects, so that more contacts can enter journeys at the right time. For example, a contact whose Onboarding Status field changes from In Progress to Completed now correctly qualifies for journey entry, allowing automation based on specific customer lifecycle changes.

# Improve Precision in Salesforce Data Entry Events

We increased the precision of Salesforce Data Entry events in Journey Builder.

**Where:** This change applies to all Marketing Cloud Engagement editions using Marketing Cloud Connect and Journey Builder.
