# Restore Data That was Cleared from a Data Extension

The Recycle Bin in Contact Builder now includes a Cleared Data folder. When you use the Clear Records button to remove all records in a data extension, that data moves to the Cleared Data folder and remains there for 30 days. If you unintentionally clear the data from a data extension, you can restore it into a new data extension.

**How:** From the Data Extensions tab in Contact Builder, select **Recycle Bin** | **Cleared Data**. Select the data to restore, and then click **Restore**.
