# Marketing Cloud Engagement

Marketing Cloud Engagement delivers personalized customer journeys across marketing, advertising, commerce, and service.

- **[Transform Your Emails, Campaigns, and Data with Marketing Cloud Next for Engagement](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_mc_next.htm&release=260&type=5)**
New features improve campaign reporting and data compatibility for Marketing Cloud Next. Marketers can now send Engagement emails via flows, create lockable email templates for use by platform users, and view unified reporting in context.
- **[Drive Conversions and Engagement with Advanced Messaging Capabilities](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_messaging.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Connect with customers and improve data accuracy across your messaging channels. You can now guide users with call-to-action URLs, showcase products in catalogs, and process payments in Brazil on WhatsApp. Additionally, get cleaner metrics with SMS bot-click detection, and consistently share contact details via Virtual Contact Files (VCF).
- **[Retain Original External Key Values in Package Manager](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_package_manager.htm&release=260&type=5)**
When you deploy entities with Package Manager, the original external key value that’s specified in the originating account is retained. Journey Builder entry sources keep the event definition key value specified in the originating account. This feature makes it easier to deploy objects called by external APIs by removing the need for manual intervention.
- **[Improve Precision in Salesforce Data Entry Events](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_mc_connect.htm&release=260&type=5)**
We increased the precision of Salesforce Data Entry events in Journey Builder. The Is Updated operator on Entry Criteria now compares a field's before and after values to more accurately detect any changes to CRM objects, so that more contacts can enter journeys at the right time. For example, a contact whose Onboarding Status field changes from In Progress to Completed now correctly qualifies for journey entry, allowing automation based on specific customer lifecycle changes.
- **[Improve Event Notification Service (ENS) Reliability](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_ens.htm&release=260&type=5)**
The new 7-day retry window prevents users from experiencing dropped batches due to unsuccessful delivery attempts. When a batch of notification events fails to deliver, ENS retries delivery at periodic, decreasing intervals for up to 7 days. After that, retries stop and delivery fails. Previously, ENS suspended callback URLs immediately after a failed delivery.
- **[Improve Security for Client Secrets](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_security.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Align your API integrations with good security practices by rotating your client secrets regularly.
- **[Restore Data That was Cleared from a Data Extension](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_data.htm&release=260&type=5)**
The Recycle Bin in Contact Builder now includes a Cleared Data folder. When you use the Clear Records button to remove all records in a data extension, that data moves to the Cleared Data folder and remains there for 30 days. If you unintentionally clear the data from a data extension, you can restore it into a new data extension.
- **[Get Einstein Metrics Guard Bot Scoring for Marketing Cloud Engagement](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_others.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Turn on Einstein Metrics Guard to score bot-driven email engagement data in Marketing Cloud Engagement using data from Data 360. This feature provides a clearer picture of campaign performance by identifying non-human opens and clicks.
- **[Duplicate Marketing Cloud Engagement Users in Marketing Cloud Next](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_mce_parent_admin.htm&release=260&type=5)**
To quickly create Marketing Cloud Next users, duplicate existing users from Marketing Cloud Engagement. When you create users this way, those users are automatically assigned the necessary permissions to start using Marketing Cloud Next right away. Now, it’s easier for marketing teams to explore and adopt the next-generation capabilities in Marketing Cloud Next.
