Use the Object option in Setup to define a JSON object structure so that you can create custom Lightning types. Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
When: This feature is available on a rolling basis starting the week of February 9, 2026.
How: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lightning Types, and then select Lightning Types. Click New Lightning Type. In the creation wizard, select Object to manually define your schema fields.
