# Lightning Component Library Is Retiring

It’s time to say goodbye to the Lightning Component Library, our legacy hub of Lightning component information. The legacy Component Library pages will redirect users to the new Lightning Component Reference in the Spring ’26 release. The tools for Lightning Web Security and Lightning Locker are also scheduled to redirect to their new locations.

**Where:** The Lightning Component Library is at [https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/component-library/overview/components](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/component-library/overview/components) and will soon redirect to the [Lightning Component Reference](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/lightning-component-reference).

**When:** January 2026, as the Spring ’26 release rolls out to customers.

**How:** The Lightning Component Library that’s published on the external website is going away. The Lightning Component Library that’s accessible in your org remains available. We don’t update the documentation for the Salesforce Lightning base components in the in-org site and will eventually remove our documentation from the site. However, you can still view your custom Aura component documentation in the site.

View this in-org site by logging in to your Salesforce org and going to this address:

https://<myDomainName>.lightning.force.com/docs/component-library
