# Extend Asset Coverage by Integrating Microsoft Intune with Salesforce CMDB

Connect Microsoft Intune with Salesforce CMDB to bring device inventory data into your configuration management processes. Intune syncs key attributes such as device identifiers, operating system details, and ownership information. Use the integration to enriche CMDB records, improve asset completeness, and reduce manual effort during asset onboarding.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Unlimited, Enterprise, and Performance Editions with Agentforce IT Service where Discovery is enabled.

**Who:** To use the Intune integration, users must have the IT Service Asset Discovery permission set.

**Why:** Integrating Intune expands asset discovery coverage across managed devices managed by Intune. The integration improves CMDB accuracy, reduces gaps in asset data, and unifies device inventory across cloud and on-premises sources.

**How:** From Salesforce CMDB and Service Graph app, go to Discovery & Scanning in the navigation pane, and then select Targets. Select New and the New Target page appears. In Target Categories, select **Device Management Systems** and then select **Microsoft Intune**.
