# Highlight Important Configuration Details with Key Attributes

Help your teams focus on the attributes that matter the most by marking selected Configuration Item (CI) fields as key attributes. You can switch to a concise view that highlights critical operational details, improving decision-making during troubleshooting, audits, and impact assessments. Key attributes make CI records easier to interpret during time-sensitive work.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Unlimited, Enterprise, and Performance Editions with Agentforce IT Service where Salesforce CMDB & Service Graph is enabled.

**Who:** Users must have the IT Service Configuration Item permission set.

**Why:** Configuration items often contain many fields. Key attributes help teams focus on the values that are most important for troubleshooting, compliance, or impact analysis.

**How:** When you create an attribute from CI Attributes Manager, you can select Show Key Attributes to mark the attribute as an important attribute. You can enable Show Key Attributes on a CI record to view only the attributes marked as important.
