# New Connect in Apex Classes

Use the new methods to manage multi-root insurance policies, claims, and billing schedules.

## Insurance Brokerage

These new methods are available in the existing `ConnectApi.InsuranceBrokerageFamily` class.

Create billing schedules from an insurance transaction

`createBillingSchedulesFromTransaction(InsuranceTransactionBillingInput)`

New input class: `ConnectApi.InsuranceTransactionBillingInputRepresentation`

New output class: `ConnectApi.InsuranceTransactionBillingOutputRepresentation`

## Insurance Claims Management

These new methods are available in the existing `ConnectApi.InsuranceClaimFamily` class.

Modify an existing claim coverage payment detail record

`EditClaimCoveragePaymentDetail(EditClaimCoveragePaymentDetailInput, claimId, coverageId, paymentDetailId)`

New input class: `ConnectApi.EditClaimCvrPaymentDetailInputRep`

New output class: `ConnectApi.EditClaimCoveragePaymentDetailRep`

Pay an ex gratia amount for a claim coverage payment detail record

`PayExGratiaClaimCvrPaymentDetail(claimId, coverageId, paymentDetailId, PayExGratiaClaimCvrPaymentDetailInput)`

New input class: `ConnectApi.PayExGratiaClaimCvrPaymentDetailInputRep`

New output class: `ConnectApi.PayExGratiaClaimCvrPaymentDetailRep`

Recalculate adjustments for an existing payment detail record

`RecalculateAdjustments(claimId, coverageId, RecalculateAdjustmentsInput)`

New input class: `ConnectApi.RecalculateAdjustmentsInputRep`

These new methods are available in the existing `ConnectApi.InsurancePolicyAdminFamily` class.

Create a multi-root insurance policy asynchronously

`MultiRootIssuePolicy(IssuePolicyInput)`

New output class: `ConnectApi.PolicyAsyncRepresentation`

Endorse a multi-root insurance policy asynchronously

`MultiRootEndorsePolicy(EndorsePolicyInput, policyId)`

New output class: `ConnectApi.PolicyAsyncRepresentation`

Renew a multi-root insurance policy asynchronously

`MultiRootRenewPolicy(RenewPolicyInput, policyId)`

New output class: `ConnectApi.PolicyAsyncRepresentation`
