# Changed Connect REST API Request Bodies

Use the new properties in insurance to specify the sub-coverage during calculating adjustments for a loss item, provide either the date or both the date and time of reported loss. Simplify the policy renewal process in insurance brokerage by removing the requirement to explicitly specify whether a renewal is with the same carrier.

## Insurance Brokerage

This request body has a changed property.

Insurance Policy Renew Input

`sameCarrier`—This property is deprecated in API version 66.0 and later.

## Insurance Claims Management

These request bodies have these new properties.

Calculate Adjustments Input

`benefitName`—Name of the specific benefit or sub-coverage that's associated with the coverage, as defined in the product attribute mapping.

Claim Input

`claimLossDate`—Date when the loss occurred. This parameter doesn't accept time of reported loss.

Insurance Policy Limit Current Standings Input

`trackingDate`—Date on which insurance standing is evaluated.

These request bodies have these new and changed properties.

Product Rating Post Input

`rootProductCodes`—Root product codes that are used within the `ratingInputs` property to create rating result. Use the created rating results as the request body in the insurance product rating API to evaluate product rating.

Rating Options Input

`pricingProcedure`—This property is deprecated in API version 66.0 and later.
