# Find Hard-Coded References Using the Updated Hyperforce Assistant Process

The automated check previously available in step one of Hyperforce Assistant has been replaced due to updates in underlying tools. The remaining Hyperforce Assistant features remain unchanged. Hyperforce Assistant helps customers prepare their org for migration. Because your org’s instance changes during migration, hard-coded references cause functionality failures post-migration. Finding and resolving hard-coded references during the preparation phase enables applications to maintain correct functionality after the upgrade to Hyperforce.
