Products and features from Data 360, Marketing Cloud, Platform, MuleSoft, and Tableau Cloud are now available in more Hyperforce regions. Hyperforce Assistant introduced a new way to find hard-coded references. The Hyperforce public IP ranges now include addresses for inbound connections, in addition to existing outbound addresses. Prepare for IPv6 if you use IP allowlists.
- Access Salesforce in More Regions with Hyperforce
Hyperforce is available in 17 countries, giving you more choice and control over data residency. - Find Hard-Coded References Using the Updated Hyperforce Assistant Process
The automated check previously available in step one of Hyperforce Assistant has been replaced due to updates in underlying tools. The remaining Hyperforce Assistant features remain unchanged. Hyperforce Assistant helps customers prepare their org for migration. Because your org’s instance changes during migration, hard-coded references cause functionality failures post-migration. Finding and resolving hard-coded references during the preparation phase enables applications to maintain correct functionality after the upgrade to Hyperforce. - Hyperforce Public IP Ranges Now Include Inbound Addresses
The Hyperforce public IP address ranges have been expanded to include inbound addresses for traffic to your Salesforce org. Previously, these ranges contained IP addresses only for connections from Salesforce to the customer network. Now, these ranges also contain IP addresses for inbound connections to your Salesforce org. Salesforce recommends adopting modern security practices, such as mTLS, instead of allowlisting on Hyperforce. But for customers with an insurmountable business or compliance requirement to use allowlists, Salesforce provides Hyperforce public IP ranges in JSON format. - Prepare for IPv6 in Hyperforce Public IPs
If you use an IP allowlist to restrict network traffic or you restrict access to Salesforce via IP address, prepare to update your allowlists to include IPv6 addresses. - Scan Files for Malware (Beta)
For improved security in your Salesforce org, files are now scanned for malware in Salesforce Files. Most new files are scanned when they’re uploaded to an org, and most existing files are scanned when they’re downloaded from an org.
