# Update athenahealth Patient Records Directly from Health Cloud

Connect Health Cloud and the athenahealth Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support real-time data write-back for patient records. Eliminate context switching and duplicate data entry, and give your care team immediate access to the most current patient data. Improve the efficiency and the overall quality of care by helping your care team capture and share the most up-to-date patient information from your Health Cloud org.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Health Cloud and is available to customers who use MuleSoft and athenahealth.

**When:** This feature is available starting Feb 13, 2026.

**How:** Enable and configure the athenahealth Integration Client MuleSoft app, and then update the instructions for your patient data management agent.
