# Field Service iOS Mobile App Support on iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 Is Discontinued

As of this release, iPad and the mobile app no longer supports iPadOS 17, iOS 17 and earlier versions.

**How:** The Spring ’26 and later versions of the Field Service app on iPad and mobile require iOS and iPadOS 18 or later. The Winter ’26 and earlier versions of the Field Service app still works on devices running iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. To maintain access to critical security updates, bug fixes, and new features, update your devices to the latest version of iOS, iPadOS and the Field Service mobile app.

Important The Field Service mobile app must be no more than two major releases behind the Salesforce platform for the app to continue to work with Lightning web components (LWCs). The Winter ’25 version stops being compatible when the Winter ’26 version is released.
