Validate Visual Remote Assistant (VRA) Permissions and User Access Easily from the Configuration Panel

Check that permission sets and users have the required VRA access permissions from the new Access Validation tab. Easily identify missing permissions and resolve installation, setup, or upgrade issues quickly and efficiently. Previously, you couldn’t verify whether a permission set or user had VRA access permissions, often leading to manual checks, setup errors, and a longer troubleshooting cycle.

Where: This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Field Service managed package and Visual Remote Assistant installed.

How: Go to the App Launcher and search for Visual Remote Assistant Configuration. On the Access Validation tab select a permission set or user and click Validate. The results show only missing permissions, making it easier to pinpoint and fix access issues.
