Accelerate Data Entry and Improve Form Accuracy with the Data Capture Lookup Component

Help mobile workers find the exact records they need—like assets or products—by searching and selecting records directly in the Data Capture form, even when offline. With the new Lookup component, they can search by name or by any object field. Previously, mobile workers had to manually enter text fields, which was tedious, slow, and error-prone.

Where: This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions, and in the Field Service mobile app for Android and iOS .

How: In Flow Builder, add the Lookup component to a screen and configure it to search a specific object, like Asset. Define whether your mobile workers ‌can select one or multiple records. You can specify up to two fields to search by.
