# Launch a Flow When a User Changes a File (Beta)

To launch a flow when a user creates, updates, or deletes a file, set up the flow so that it triggers on the Content Document or Content Version objects. Use this new feature to create flows that work with documents in Salesforce Files or Salesforce CRM content. This feature was developed based on your idea on IdeaExchange.

**Where:** This change applies to Salesforce Files accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Essentials, Group, Enterprise, Professional, Performance, Unlimited, Contact Manager, and Developer editions.
