# Developer Productivity

Make component configuration more intuitive for Aura and LWR site builders with custom property editors and types, now generally available. The performance-related setting for connect APIs, previously beta in enhanced LWR sites, was removed.

- **[Create Custom Property Types and Editors for Lightning Web Components in Aura and LWR Sites (Generally Available)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_experiences_cpt_cpe_ga.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Make your custom Lightning web components highly configurable in Experience Builder by adding custom property editors and property types. This feature, which is now generally available, includes some changes since the beta release.
- **[Connect API Performance Beta Setting Was Removed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_experiences_perf_removed.htm&release=260&type=5)**
The **Improve performance of Connect APIs in your LWR site (Beta)** setting in the Preferences section of the site’s Administration workspace was removed. This beta feature was originally available in enhanced LWR sites that made Connect REST API calls from Lightning web components.
- **[Quickly Develop Lightning Web Components in a Real-Time Preview of Your LWR Site (Generally Available)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_experience_local_dev.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Local Dev detects changes in your source code and updates your Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) site preview so you don’t have to redeploy code or manually refresh your browser. This feature, now generally available, includes some changes since the last release.
- **[LWR Sites Use the User's Date and Time by Default](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_experiences_time_zone.htm&release=260&type=5)**
To standardize behavior across LWR sites, system dates and times, such as when a record is created, now use the user's locale. Previously, some LWR sites used the org's default time zone instead of the user's locale. If you need to modify this default setting, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
