# Create Custom Property Types and Editors for Lightning Web Components in Aura and LWR Sites (Generally Available)

Make your custom Lightning web components highly configurable in Experience Builder by adding custom property editors and property types. This feature, which is now generally available, includes some changes since the beta release.

**Where:** This change applies to [Aura and LWR sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_glossary.htm&type=5&language=en_US) accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** Create custom property types using the new LightningTypeBundle, which supports updates. Previously, the ExperiencePropertyTypeBundle didn’t allow for updates.

To customize the editing experience specific to Experience Builder, create the editor.json file using the new format for LightningTypeBundle and place it within the experienceBuilder folder.

Important For previous beta participants who created custom property types using the ExperiencePropertyTypeBundle, we recommend that you replace that bundle with the new LightningTypeBundle and redeploy the components.
