# Educate Service Reps About Chat Exit Behavior

Enable confirmation modals to provide Service reps with more information about what happens when they select Leave Chat or End Chat in various scenarios.

**Where:** This applies to Enhanced Chat and Enhanced Messaging. [View required editions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.messaging_editions.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

**Why:** We added confirmation modals to let Service Reps know what happens when they click **End Chat** in the following scenarios:

- Non-conference mode, agent clicks **End Chat**.
- Conference mode, owner clicks **End Chat** for all.
- Conference mode, participant (non-owner) clicks **Leave Chat**.

**How:** In the Lightning App Builder, open the Messaging Session page layout and click the Enhanced Conversation component. Select **Show chat exit confirmation**.
