Use Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite on the Einstein Platform (Beta)

We added support for Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite as a beta model. To use a beta model, you must first turn on beta generative AI models in the Einstein Setup page. After you turn on beta generative AI models, you can use this model in any supported feature, such as in a prompt template.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

Note This feature is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

When: This model is available starting the week of March 30, 2026.

Who: This feature is available to Salesforce customers with Data 360 and Einstein permission sets.
