# Topics Are Now Subagents

To more accurately reflect platform capabilities, agent topics are now called subagents, and the Topic Selector is now called the Agent Router. There are no changes to functionality. During this transition, you may see a mix of the new and previous terms in our documentation and UI.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions. Setup for AI agents is available on the desktop site.

**When:** This change is available starting the week of April 6, 2026.
