# The New Agentforce Builder Is Now Generally Available

Build powerful, predictable agents with the new Agentforce Builder in Agentforce Studio, now generally available. With Agent Script at its core, you can combine logical expressions and natural language prompts to create agents that follow sophisticated, multi-step workflows. With in-depth agent previews, trace, and debugging, you can release those agents to production with confidence. Note Additional UI language support is planned for April 2026.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions. Setup for AI agents is available on the desktop site.

**When:** This change is available starting February 20, 2026.

**Why:** The new Agentforce Builder debuted in beta in December 2025. Since then, we’ve been hard at work on usability enhancements to make the builder easier to use.

- Agent creation and management:
    - The default Agentforce Service agent template is now supported in the new builder, so you can get started with out-of-the-box topics and actions for customer-facing use cases. Previously, you could only create an Agentforce Employee agent from a template and an Agentforce Service agent from scratch. [Learn more.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.service_agent_setup.htm&type=5&language=en_US)
    - You can delete all versions of an agent from the All Agents list in Agentforce Studio, or you can delete one or all versions of an agent from the builder. Previously, you couldn’t delete agents created in the new builder. [Learn more.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.agent_versions_delete.htm&type=5&language=en_US)
    - Agents created in the legacy builder are now visible in the All Agents list in Agentforce Studio, so you can see all of your agents in one place. Agents created in the legacy builder open in the legacy builder.
- Canvas view:
    - You can create and edit utility actions (escalate, set variables, and transition) in Canvas view. Previously, you could only create utility actions in Script view. [Learn more.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.agent_canvas.htm&type=5&language=en_US)
    - When you’re editing a topic, you can view and edit the details for any resource you reference without leaving the topic. Simply hover over a topic, action, or variable to view details for that resource. Or click on the resource to edit the label and description (and even more fields for custom variables).
    - We’ve made it easier to copy and paste content to and from the Canvas. Plus, we’ve added support for more keyboard shortcuts, including familiar favorites (Ctrl or Cmd+c to copy) and some handy new ones (Ctrl or Cmd+a+a to select the contents of an entire block of instructions).
- Welcome messages: Agent welcome messages now support context variables, so you can personalize how your agents greet your customers and employees. [Learn more.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.copilot_setup_system_messages.htm&type=5&language=en_US)
- Agent previews: In the Interaction Details panel of a preview conversation, you can show or hide system events in the trace view. System events are hidden by default, so you can focus on your agent’s actions, reasoning, and responses. Plus, when you click into an event, you can expand the JSON for that event to full screen, so it’s easier to view your agent’s complete prompt. [Learn more.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.agent_test_in_builder.htm&type=5&language=en_US)

**How:** From the App Launcher, find and select **Agentforce Studio**, and then select **Agents**. Click **New Agent** to create your first Agent Script-powered agent.
