# Centralize Course Collaboration in Slack with Agentforce

Manage Course Operations workflows in Slack with Agentforce. Faculty can create channels for each course offering, maintain accurate participant lists, and publish a syllabus canvas in the same space where communication already happens. Real-time updates and easier access to course resources provide students with a unified academic experience.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions where these licenses and add-ons are enabled.

- Education Cloud
- Slack
- Applicable Agentforce add-on licenses

**When:** Course Operations Topics in Agentforce is available from January 2026.

**Who:** Users with these permission sets can configure and use Course Operations Topics in Agentforce.

- Education Cloud Full Access
- Agentforce for Education Cloud Access
- Education Cloud Advanced Academic Operations Admin Access

**How:** To turn on Course Operations Topics in Agentforce, from Setup, find and select **Set Up Education Cloud**. Under Set Up Agentforce for Education Cloud, turn on **Course Operations Agent**.
