# DevOps

Salesforce DevOps brings best practices to development teams, empowering developers and builders to collaborate and deliver high-quality applications. By using a repeatable and scalable process aligned with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles, your teams can accelerate innovation.

- **[Modernize Your Application Release Lifecycle with Next Generation DevOps Center (Generally Available)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_devops_center_next_gen.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Manage releases from a click-based central hub that improves team collaboration across change and release tasks. You can use Agentforce to resolve complex merge conflicts and deployment failures with natural language prompts. This feature, which is now generally available, includes some changes since the beta release, such as support for Bitbucket, data deployment, and the ability to combine work items to fix conflicts.
- **[Accelerate Release Management with Next Generation DevOps Center (Beta)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_next_generation_devops_center.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Manage your release process with a click-based interface that serves as a central hub for DevOps tasks. Resolve complex issues like merge conflicts using natural language prompts and AI-powered assistance. The next-generation DevOps Center supports non-source-tracked environments and removes the need for package installations.
- **[Enhance DevOps Center Security with External Client Apps](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_devops_center_external_client_apps.htm&release=260&type=5)**
Use external client apps to configure and manage single sign-on (SSO) and OAuth authorization for DevOps Center. DevOps Center is transitioning from connected apps to improve security. From Spring’ 26, when installing DevOps Center in a new org, you now create an external client app instead of a connected app.
