Create Full Sandboxes for Large Production Orgs Faster with Quick Create

The Quick Create technology is now available for production orgs larger than 1 TB that are hosted on Hyperforce instances. While performance varies by org, most customers see processing times two to three times faster with Quick Create than the legacy method. With this capability, you can focus more time on developing and testing solutions, and less time waiting for sandboxes to build. Previously, the Quick Create technology was available only for production orgs up to 1 TB.

Important If you’re creating a Full sandbox from a production org hosted on a Hyperforce instance, your sandbox is created using the Quick Create technology by default. However, because of resource limitations within the shared infrastructure, sandbox creation on Hyperforce instances can sometimes fall back to the legacy method, rather than the faster Quick Create method.

Where: This change applies to new Full sandbox requests for production orgs on Hyperforce instances, excluding Gov Cloud.

When: Quick Create is available to production orgs on Hyperforce instances starting in January 2026.

Who: To create or refresh a Full sandbox, you need the Manage Sandbox user permission.

How: Quick Create is automatically enabled for all new Full sandbox requests that meet hosting requirements.
