# Accelerate DX Inspector Data Deployment with SOQL

Speed up your deployment process from DX Inspector by using SELECT queries to define the records that you want to deploy. Enter Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) queries to fetch specific records and fields from your source org. This feature is a faster alternative to filters, enabling you to fetch data based on complex criteria instantly.

**Where:** This feature is available in all sandboxes and scratch orgs accessed through Lightning Experience. SOQL filtering is available in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**Who:** This feature is available to sandbox and scratch org users with the Customize Application user permission.
